OK, so I'm a couple of days late with the update to the blog...

It's been quiet here this last week on Recommend Us, we had a couple of new signups and a bit of a hoo-ha with a bad review but generally it was quiet. I have been asked to mention that we recently had two members hit the magic 99.9% for good recommendations. Go Waterless and Designamagik both hit 99.9% within a few days of each other, so well done to the both of them. All they have to do is keep their star rating there!

I would like to mention the bad review system here. This week we had a Good Review come through for one of our members which was by themselves. This isn't the way this website works. The idea was to reply to a bad review they had received, but like I said, this isn't a forum and the replies to reviews, whether good or bad, are reserved for full members only. If you would like to reply to reviews, sign up as a full member where you can reply to reviews and veto certain reviews if you think they are inappropriate.

If you do receive a bad review, please don't start moaning about it to us as we are not responsible for the reviews on the site, they are all made by third parties. If you feel a review has been made in error or is a fabrication, then email us and tell us why you think it should not be allowed to stay. Better still, if you sign up as a full member you can remove it yourself.

On a lighter note, you may notice the icons at the bottom of the screen have increased. We now have a presence on Facebook and Twitter. Click either of them to see what we are doing, or subscribe to our RSS feeds to be notified when this blog is updated or when new members join.
