The original idea of this blog here was to keep everyone regularly updated on the development of Recommend Us. So far, the blogs have been inconsistent at best, but we are hoping to change that and bring you regular updates on a weekly basis. These updates wont be all about the development of the site, but also other bits and pieces we feel you may be interested in.

Some of you may have noticed the new RSS Feeds that we have implemented for the latest members and this blog. You can subscribe to these via Feedburner using an RSS Reader. If you are using Windows Vista, this has an RSS reader pre-installed in the gadget sidebar and you can subscribe to the feed by clicking the RSS icon on the relevant pages. We are currently working on making this available for all Full Members blogs as well so you can keep up to date with any blog on the site without having to even open an internet browser.

Recommend Us is growing nicely, we recently received a page rank from Google of 2, but we are hoping to improve this with regular updates over the next few months. One new innovation coming in the next week or two is a service to advertise your latest offers and discounts direct to people without the necessity of the search. This will be open to both Paid Members and Free Members. There will be an annual fee to advertise your offers but it will be minimal and will give you the option of opening up your special offers, latest products, forthcoming events and Recommend Us discount offers direct to potential customers hopefully giving your special deals more exposure and generating more interest in them. This innovation will be undergoing testing in the next week or two and will launch before the end of the month if all goes well.
